Welcome to Shady Grove Campground. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online booking system, and your stay at our campground. By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not book or stay with us.

2. Reservations and Booking

  • Reservations may be made through our website, by phone, or by other methods we offer.

  • A reservation is confirmed when you receive a confirmation (by email and/or text message) and we accept your booking.

  • You agree to provide accurate contact and guest information, including name, email address, and mobile phone number.

  • Site assignments, rates, and availability are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a reservation at any time for any reason deemed necessary such as if information is inaccurate, payment is not received as required, or these Terms or campground rules are violated.

Cancellation and changes:
Guests may cancel or change a reservation at any time prior to check-in by contacting the office at 970-664-2218 or using the manage link in your confirmation email/text. There is no penalty for cancellation.

Payment:
Payment is due at check-in unless otherwise stated in your confirmation. We accept cash and credit. Additional payment options are available for long term guests.

3. Text Messaging & Email Communications (SMS Terms)

By providing your mobile phone number when booking a reservation at Shady Grove Campground, you expressly consent to receive transactional text (SMS) messages regarding your booking and stay.

  • Program Description: Text messages are strictly transactional and include reservation confirmations, check-in instructions, site updates, and links to manage your booking. No promotional or marketing texts are sent.

  • Opt-In: Guests opt in by providing their mobile phone number on the campsite reservation form at shadygrovecg.com while completing a booking.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your reservation activity (typically 1–2 messages per reservation).

  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt-Out (STOP): You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to cancel. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text.

  • Customer Support (HELP): Reply HELP to any text message for assistance, or contact us directly at 970-664-2218 or gocamp@shadygrovecg.com.

  • Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Mobile carriers (such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Privacy & Non-Sharing: Your mobile phone number and opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Check-In, Check-Out, and Site Use

  • Check-in and check-out dates and times are as stated in your confirmation unless we agree otherwise in writing.

  • Each campsite is limited to one self-contained RV, one camping unit, and two vehicles per site, unless we approve otherwise.

  • All vehicles must be parked within the boundaries of your assigned campsite.

  • You may not exceed occupancy limits or use a site for purposes other than camping without our permission.

5. Campground Rules and Guest Conduct

At Shady Grove Campground we want to be as accommodating and welcoming as possible while ensuring the safety and comfort of all of our guests. Please respect the policies and each other.

Speed Limit

The speed limit is 5 mph inside the campground property.

Quiet Hours

Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During quiet hours, all audio (radios, music, TVs, etc.) must be at minimal volume. Children must remain at their campsite until 7:00 AM.

Pets

  1. Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in the dumpster.

  2. Pets must be kept under control (leash, enclosure, or tie-out) and attended at all times so they do not leave the site or approach other guests without consent.

  3. Noisy, aggressive, unattended, or out-of-control pets that cause a disturbance are grounds for immediate ejection without refund.

Firearms

Discharge of firearms is strictly prohibited on campground property. During hunting season, hunters may bring firearms but must keep them in cases and out of public view until exiting the property.

Campfires

Campfires are not permitted until further notice, unless we post otherwise.

Conduct

No disorderly or offensive conduct is allowed, including loud music, excessive noise, reckless vehicle use, or offensive language.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to immediately eject, without refund, anyone violating campground rules, state or federal laws, or county regulations.

We may also cancel a reservation or refuse future bookings for violations of these Terms or campground rules.

7. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

Campground facilities and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks. You use our facilities at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shady Grove Campground and its owners, employees, and agents are not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of property arising from your stay, including but not limited to events caused by fire, theft, weather (including wind, hail, or floods), wildlife, other guests, or other acts beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and county regulations while on campground property. Violations may result in removal without refund and may be reported to authorities.

9. Website and Online Booking

  • Our website and booking tools are provided for your convenience. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

  • We may update, suspend, or change booking features at any time.

  • Links in confirmations (including manage-reservation links) are provided for your use; do not share them with others if you do not want them to access your reservation details.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including email and text messaging practices.

Mobile Information Non-Sharing Policy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
