When you book a stay or contact us, we may collect:

  • Reservation details (dates, site, equipment type, payment-related information)

We collect this information when you submit a reservation on our website, call or text our office, or otherwise communicate with us. Providing email and phone is required to complete an online reservation. Automated SMS consent is collected separately via an optional checkbox and is not required to book.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and manage campground reservations

  • Send email confirmations and reservation-related updates

  • Send automated text message (SMS/MMS) confirmations and reservation-related updates only when you opt in by checking the optional automated SMS consent box during online booking

  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support

  • Operate and improve our booking systems

We do not use your contact information to send unrelated marketing texts unless you have separately agreed to receive them.

Email Communications

If you provide an email address when booking, we may send emails about your reservation, including confirmation details and links to manage your booking.

Opt-In

SMS is optional. When you book online at shadygrovecg.com, email and mobile phone are required to complete your reservation. You will only receive automated text messages if you actively check the unchecked-by-default box labeled: “Check this box to receive automated text messages about this reservation.”

If you do not check the box, you will not receive automated SMS from us, but you may still receive reservation confirmations and updates by email, phone or non-automated text message.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you opt out, we will send a confirmation message and will no longer send reservation-related texts to that number unless you book again and provide consent again.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

Mobile information non-sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
